LE ORIGINI

GRAPPA CHARDONNAY

An international grape variety par excellence, Chardonnay has also gained recognition among Piedmontese winemakers, even though the region is traditionally known for its native vines. The grape’s subtle yet distinctive aromatic imprint provides fragrant pomace which, when distilled fresh, yields a delicate grappa finely defined in its taste and aroma profile.

Organoleptic Profile

Color
Clear, transparent, crystalline

Aroma
Initially reveals notes of hazelnut and bay leaves. Subsequently, hints of almond and sage emerge.

Taste
The strength and vigor of the alcoholic note enhance the volatility of its aromatic components (wisteria flowers, walnut husk, and acacia honey). Robust in body, it is appreciated for its straightforward, genuine character on the palate. During its long persistence, a pleasant note of green pepper gradually surfaces
